Dr. Donald Smith
Dr. Donald Smith Jr. joined EFM ‘s Board of Directors in 2003. He has served as the Chairman of the Board since 2008. He and his wife, Bessie, served together as missionaries in Honduras with EFM from 1998 until December 2002.
His practical experience as a medical doctor coupled with his missionary experience have made him an invaluable asset on our Board. His education includes: a B.A. in Science, Houston Baptist University Medical school – Medical Doctor, Texas Tech University Residency – Family Practice, University of Texas.
They have two children: Elizabeth and Erin. They currently reside in Bedford, IN.
Sharon McKnight joined EFM ‘s Board of Directors in 2011 and has served as Secretary of the Board since 2013. Sharon and her husband, Tom served together as missionaries in Honduras with EFM from 1998 until April 2003.
Sharon is a registered nurse with specialty certifications related to Home Healthcare and owns her own business. Her education includes a BSN in Nursing from IN Wesleyan University.
Tom and Sharon have three children and 10 grandchildren, and currently reside in Alexandria, IN.
David W. Crosley joined EFM’s Board of Directors in 2008. He earned the Bachelor of Religious Education degree at God’s Bible School. He and his wife Tamarah have 30 years of experience in Christian Education. David served as teacher and principal at Wesleyan Christian Academy in Grand Cayman, then as principal of Aldersgate Christian Academy in Cincinnati. He also served as principal of Stone City Christian Academy and Associate Pastor of Faith Mission Church in Bedford, Indiana. He has taken students on missions trips to Guatemala, Hungary, and Romania. He has worked closely with the EFM Christian school in Jalapa, Guatemala. He is currently pastoring Salem Bible Methodist Church in Salem, Ohio.
They have two children: Dwight and Melissa, and currently reside in Salem, Ohio.
Bob Brock has served on the EFM Board since 2015. When he was yet a student, he and his wife, Barb, led two student missionary teams to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for summer evangelism. Later they served 21 years in Bible School administration, teaching and training pastors and Christian workers in Papua New Guinea. There he had a unique opportunity of serving on the National Executive Church Council that organized and established the indigenous church of PNG.
He currently is teaches online classes at Tambul Bible School (in the National language of Papua New Guinea) and Pacific Bible College. Bob graduated from God’s Bible School in 1969 with a BS in Bible and Theology . He served two overseas tours in the USAF, in Turkey and the Philippines.
Bob and his wife, Barb, currently live in New Castle, IN. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.
Roger Price was elected to EFM’s Board in the fall of 2015. He had previously served on Victory Iner-city Ministries Board for since January 2005. Roger and his wife, Melessa, helped with the Spanish church in Indianapolis, teaching English as a second language classes and helping the pastor in various ways. Roger enjoys teaching the adult Sunday school class at his home church, Salem Park Church, in Indianapolis. He is a stone carver with over forty years experience carving granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, and slate. He has placed cemetery memorials across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, as well as fabricating architectural stone.
He and his wife Melessa live on the west side of Indianapolis; they have three sons who are married and attend church, and they also have three grandchildren.
Daniel Lee began serving on the EFM Board in 2012, but his first contact with EFM was when his parents went as missionaries with EFM to Egypt and then Eritrea. They celebrated his second birthday on board a ship going to Egypt.
He earned a B.A. and Masters in Administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He is an Army Veteran and served in Korea. His past ministry experience includes teaching – Middle School through College, being a Principal at Mountain State Christian School in West Virginia, being a Pastor in Kansas, serving as President of the Kansas State Holiness Association,
Academic Dean then Vice President at Union Bible College, Executive Vice President at FEA, and President of the North Carolina Christian Academy.
Daniel and his wife, Lynda, live in Shawnee, KS. They have 5 adult children.
Dr. Stephen Gibson
Stephen Gibson has served as international director of HPM since January, 2011. Gibson is married, with six children and seven grandchildren.
His previous ministry included pastoring, foreign mission work, Bible college teaching and administration, Christian school teaching and administration, and writing.
He lived in Ukraine with his family for five years and served Kiev Wesley Bible College in the roles of professor, academic dean, and president. During that time he also taught classes at other colleges and preached in churches in Ukraine and Russia.
